Performance of Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Lebanon, Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Lebanon showed varied performance across the top apps on the Android platform. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, reveals interesting trends in downloads and active users for each app.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 374 in mid-February. Weekly active users showed a significant increase towards the end of the quarter, rising from about 4.5K to over 6.6K.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate, with numbers hovering around the 200 mark. Active users fluctuated, peaking at about 4.2K in mid-March before dropping to 1.1K by the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares saw a consistent rise in downloads, reaching 183 by the end of March. Active users, however, declined steadily from over 9K to about 5.9K throughout the quarter.

TaxiF Driver - Be the Captain! faced a downward trend in downloads, starting strong in January but dwindling to around 71 by March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 700 mark.

Finally, Careem: Rides, Food & more showed minor fluctuations in downloads, with a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter. Active users decreased from about 957 to 824 over the same period.
